[The Legacy of X-Star: Ep3]

Originality..

Okay, at first I wasn't going to say anything, but all these people whining about 'originality' are getting on my nerves.

Nice movie. I thought it was well scripted, directed and overall just put together. It felt like a real movie, which is a lot more than I can say for a lot of these Newgrounds flicks.

But to the point of this review....

All you people bashing on this guy for a lack of 'originality' need to shut up. Especially you, Flat_line. With your Doom themed game. Why don't YOU be more original?

People can shit and piss, moan and whine all they want about originality and creativity when it involves a movie like this, with anime influences and sticks etc etc, but you people don't have a damned thing to say when some College University/Life After College/Soft Outer Crust movie comes along. Oh look, they're teenage white guys who like to say dude and chase after girls but never quite get them! Oh HOW FUCKING ORIGINAL! Never a peep about Happy Tree Friends/Retarded Animal Babies! Oh look, cute animals doing disgusting and violent things, OH HOW ORIGINAL!!!

You know what the funniest thing about people bitching about originality like this? They can never back their shit up! Nope, they never have a mind blowing, ORIGINAL FUCKING movie, if they have a movie at all!! I wonder why? Hyprocrisy is a bitch, ain't it!?

God, I am so glad that in the end stupid users are outnumbered by people with a shred of common sense and decency. Who knows what kind of a shit hole this site would be without some decent opinions.

I just have to dock you some points on your main character. I'm sorry, but I got waaayyy too much of a Hellsing vibe off of this movie. I was just waiting for your guy to give some sort of insane look with his eyes.

You know, I wouldn't have cared as much if you left it at that mean spirited 'movie' with Foamy bashing on the series he's in and Germaine getting killed. Nope, you just had to bash on the author himself, a person I'm pretty sure you've never met in your life. Do you think he really deserved that?

You also had to go making fun of the series' fans. Do think that they all deserved to be pigeonholed into the same category?

What in the hell did iwillpress do to you, Funktastic? Besides making a popular series?

But so is this.

The sound is rarely witty, the pictures are monotonous, and the movie goes on for 5 minutes longer than it should.

Of course this is a bad movie. You didn't expect me to actually put effort into a movie that isn't serious did you? If you want movies with effort check out Swift Dragon 2 or Aurora 5.

Good job, idiot. You made another garbage Tricky the clown movie, sugarcoated the movie with intelligent sounding comments and fooled the general audience into thinking the movie had any worth. Maybe I'm wrong about that, maybe you just had your clock friends vote this up high enough to avoid the blamming it deserved.

You have no business to make a movie putting down anti-clocks and then releasing this, the pefect justification of clock hatred. How can anybody want to be a clock seeing this? Unless they want to be just as immature?

Why don't you start making real movies instead of churning out this juvenille garabe, you little punk.

Alright...

This is a good start to your series, although with a bit of thought I have come to a few gripes which I'd like to point out.

The visual style is one of them. I know that you must not like it when you get knocked down all the time for the way your movies look, but from my view, I'd rather you just let the series look like Comet Magnum than Comet Magnum with traced and edited random anime (Fist of the North Star) images.

You should also work on the coloring too. One character can't be shaded by gradients while another is colored by solid colors. It looks sloppy.

I'll have to compliment you for the one-man voice acting. I was able to withstand it without immediately screaming, "It'S ALL THE SAME GUY!!" However I suggest you find yourself more VAs soon, before you got to a character (female) that can't be done justice no matter how you hide your voice.

Well....

I'll have to mention that I think the movie derailed when the zombies devoured that person. I think it killed the flow of the movie for that one part to be stretched and detailed out so much. I just kept saying to myself, "Okay....I know the other guy is alive....can he get away now?"

But I don't know whether I thought this because I was being a critic..or because I didn't want to see anymore. As focused as the movie is, I never got bored...and never thought of anything else besides what I was seeing. I'm actually holding my stomach and neck in non-existant pain now.

This must be Newgrounds.com's first real snuff movie.....

Ever seen a zombie flick? theres alot of 'feeding scenes' in them.
